The ideal audience of users for Expresso are students, teachers, and corporate users. This group was chosen because coffee is a very important element of their morning routine. (This is a solo passion project)
DETERMINING USER FLOW
decided to utilize user flow mapping to help discover what elements should be implemented within the design that would help make the app intuitive in the ordering process. This map breaks down the user flow of placing a coffee order within the app.

SKETCHES
My purpose for sketching was to brainstorm different ideas in terms of layout and placement of elements within the design. I chose a couple of different screens and made 3-4 different variations of the same screen based on the ideas that came to me whilst sketching.

WIREFRAMES
High-fidelity wireframes were designed to bring life to my sketches, experiment with layout and element placement, and give a better context to focus on the functionality of the app.

UI DESIGN
Once wireframes were all completed, I designed the final UI design within Adobe XD. The interface design took inspiration from other known on-demand delivery apps such as DoorDash, Postmates, Grubhub, etc. The interface was designed as light mode only, based on the images and colors within the app, the light mode would allow for maximum visibility during both day and night for the user.

PROTOTYPE
The prototype consists of the full user flow when ordering a cappuccino with apple pay.
